Weekly Memo

Hey guys! This week, we are going to work on persuasive writing. We are going to learn what a persuasive paper is and how effective it can be when persuading others. We will complete a few persuasive writing assignments to get everyone comfortable with the idea before moving on to the persuasive essay. This is going to be fun! Here is a link to a current events site. This site lists many great current topics and problems in the word today. You don't have to use this site for your paper, but it will help those who are stuck. Remember, the point of this persuasive paper is to pick a topic you are interested in and persuade us to feel the same.

My juniors have been working very hard on their class projects. We have recently finished up a unit over Medieval times. This is one of the group's finished project. It won first place. Congratulations guys!

New School Year

Welcome to the new school year! I am very excited to begin this new semester. I have a lot of fun and exciting new lesson plans for all of my classes this year. We are going to cover everything from Romeo and Juliet to Twilight. Yes, we are going to read Twilight. Plus, some field trips to plays. This is going to be a great year!

Summary of Romeo and Juliet
